MS Outlook sort puts me at top of emails
« on: December 19, 2006, 05:18:39 PM »
When I highlight an email with a subject like "Stuph" and then click on the "Subject" column heading to
sort the list and put all the "Stuph" emails together it sorts on Subject correctly but moves me to the top of the email list. I have to scroll down to find the "Stuph" emails.

When my office neighbor highlights an email and sort on subject she goes to
where her highlighted email is, not to the top.
No macros or custom views involved. What can I do to stay on my selected
email when I sort on Subject.

Thanks a million to everyone who takes a look at this.

We need to know more information, what email software are you using if any?
Computers are the future, not us. Learn everything you can about them while you still can, soon they will be learning about us... Every bit of advice that I give you is best guess, it is your choice whether or not you listen to it.

We are using MS Outlook 2003 on an Exchange server.
