WINDOWS 2000 PASSWORD PROMPT
« on: December 28, 2006, 12:49:32 AM »
Hello,
My fathern-in-law asked me to remove the password prompt from his windows 2000 startup sequence and when I DISABLED THE PROMPT by unchecking it through the settings in managing users he lost his ALL HIS CONFIGURATIONS PREFERENCES.  I.E  internet connection does not work, his office programs are no longer in the program favorites.    Does anyone know how to reverse this so his initial preferences come back.
He is running a celeron wih 512k memory.
Thanks
 :-?
Regards,

RINAL

Was he the only user on the machine? Was this the Administrator account?
