Trouble downloading...

Ever since we went wireless, I've been having an extremely difficult time using P2P Networking. I can't download anything from LimeWire and I have no idea what the problem is.

I can download directly from the internet with no problem...

My only guess is that something is in the way, like a firewall...thing is, as far as I know, I don't have one...

If you have XP with SP2 you probably do - the Windows firewall, as well as a hardware firewall if you use a router. You can check on that.

If you were previously on dialup, you might have better luck just uninstalling and reinstalling the software.

I'll skip the speech about dangers of P2P downloading, but be careful.
