I thought Track said the graphics were the only thing that mattered. As my son proposed, the game play is the most important thing, and Nintendo has always had the lock on that.  ;)

Yup, that is a confirmation. The gameplay of Nintendo's generations has always had the best gameplay. Although the PS3 has the new SIX AXIS controller.

One of my favorite things about Nintendo is that they ted to keep their consoles cheaper than others.

If we look at the PS2, and then at the Wii, we see a big difference. You are pretty much getting the same thing, but cheaper (and with more interactive controls)

The only thing is that it seems that sometimes, there are more games for PS2 then the Nintendo.
But then again, it could be that we are just all being hit by more advertizing from PS2....

Who  knows

I just got my 100MBPS FiberOptic internet, and it is fast!
I will finally be back at ComputerHope, without freezing my fingers off

What do you mean by that? 100Mbps is usually the network speed, what is the real speed?

    Good point.
He kind of disappeared after he was involved in a lot of arguments.
I hoped he'd stick around, I didn't think any of the complaints were totally unjustified, whether made by him or against him.
It'd be nice if he came back.

i object to that. i do not believe that this board needs a self-absorbed, ignorant,"know-it-all".

100MBPS is the real internet speed, Im not kidding, thats what it becomes when your internet moves at the speed of light... (Though, our network goes at 108MBPS, the internet is just 8MBPS slower)

technically speaking, internet will never be as fast as the speed of light. this is due to copper loss, conductor resistance, and conductor inductance. while these "speed bumps" may be minimal, they do add up over the thoundands of miles that they have to travel, which is why ISP/Telephone companies have to incorporate signal boosters. (i do not know the specs of their signal boosters, but CAT5, typically installed in residential and commercial buildings, has a limit of 300ft before a signal booster is needed.)

just thought i would clear that up a little. ;)

They use "Amplifiers" to increse the light amounts again.
I know its not the speed of light, but is faster than -
