Xbox Live - Limited or no connectivity
« on: January 07, 2007, 12:09:19 PM »
Hey all. I've seen that a lot of people have had a similar problem to this in the past so sorry to bring this up..again.

Basically I used to connect my xbox 360 to my computer using a ethernet and it worked fine. Then i got wireless so I then did it with that. Great. Eventually my wireless stopped working so now im back with the ethernet - - - however it is not connecting properly (hence limited or no connectivity).

Now i think this has something to do with IPs as when i run the troubleshooter in the console it fails the IP Address test, and when I try and repair the LAN connection on my computer it wont get past Acquiring Network Address.

I was wondering if anyone knows what could be causing this and how to fix it?

If you happen to know the IP settings of your router, we can help you to set up static IP addresses on your LAN, which usually fixes this kind of problem.
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.
