Internet Terminal

Hello,

I am interested in connecting my home network directly to An internet terminal(the ones where isp connect to), does anyone have a map of all the internet terminals in the US ? Is there a monthly fee to be connected ?

By "internet terminal" I presume you mean a leased line.  Do you have a spare $10,000 a year?

I would assume that it is just to be plugged in... by the wikipedia article I have provided up top.

I would like to not have to pay alot for a better than average connection, maybe a
 bandswitch of 100 Mbps and I don't want to pay the $300 verizon offers for that;
