How do I clean marker off LCD screen?

My grandson made a mark on my LCD monitor using a CD marker and my usual methods of removing marks from glass screens don't work.

Any suggestions?  

I am considering the purchase of a Mr. Clean Magic eraser.

    retrieve grandson,  firmly grasp child by neck,  spray his a_s with alcohol and gently rub screen in a back and forth motion, while shacking neck vigorously !  :D

    if that was a permanent CD marker, u might have some problems there.

    Unable to retrieve grandson as he is now one state away.  Grabbed q-tip instead and the marks vanished in an instant.  Thank you.

    It was a relatively small green mark.   Just so other people with this problem know what to do I used Walgreen's isopropyl alcohol 70% I am new to these LCD screens and I was so afraid I would burn a hole in it or something.
