Just a quick update:

The last couple of weeks I've had a stinking cold, but in spite of that have also been galavanting (take note, street) round the countryside attending various interviews.  The short story is that I have been very successful with one particular company and am about to be made an offer.  We have already agreed terms, it just requires a director's approval.

Phew!

Incidentally, I'm still waiting to hear back from that first interview...   ::)

Thank you.  Unfortunately, there is a big difference to a prospective employer between saying "I can program in PHP" and "Someone has been paying me handsomely for producing PHP-driven websites for the last 10 years, and here are some examples of my work"...  :)

Still, someone has been sufficiently conned impressed to consider offering me a job...  ;D

Just a brief update: I start my new job today (in less than two hours' time) so I'm not sure how available I will be here until things "stabilise".  :)
