.sfv file
« on: February 07, 2007, 05:29:44 PM »
I recently downloaded some freeware. All that was included was
filename.001 through filename.040 or something similar. Also a filename.sfv I did some searches and downloaded a program called Quick SFV. All it does is check the files. How do I convert them or extract them or do whatever I need to do?? Please help.

Perhaps the files are not for your operating system? It doesent sound like they are.

You may want to try checking the website and finding requirements, it sounds like you have Macintosh files.

I have WINRar. What would I need to do with it to make these files work?

They are CRC checkers to verify the integrity of DLoaded files...what kind of freeware needed 40 RAR files ? ?

I think we're not getting the full story here.
