Will Open office run on VISTA

HI all,
Can anyone tell me if office will run on VISTA before I load it on or will it be safe to put a restore point and then try to install and run to see !!!!

It will work fine.
Make a system restore point if you want, it's an extra layer of security if something goes wrong.

System Requirements for OpenOffice.org 2 mentions Windows Vista with the parenthetical note: (enhanced Vista integration from version 2.2).  The page for Instructions for Downloading and Installing OpenOffice.org 2.0 also mentions Vista.  

So, I'd say go ahead with your plan.  Create a restore point first and then install it.  Let us know how it goes.

My copy has been working for almost three months.
In general, the PEBKAC.  Whether it's now or was three weeks ago, the PEBKAC.
Unsafe browsing and general computer / internet illiteracy IS the users problem.  Don't have sex if you don't know how to use a condom.

And there is also a portable version for thumb drives in case you need to take work with you to and fro...

And, if you have a U3 Smart flash drive, you can get a version of OpenOffice for it.
