brightness/ contrast /black level  /volume
clock/  clock phase/ horizontal position/  verticle position
auto setup / auto adjust
all reset / OSD position / power save/ display mode / color

... background is stretched and bigger, but then part of the screen is cut off
so then i have to put the mouse to the left/top/bottom/right of the screen so it would scroll to the part that is not visible
So, part of the display is pushed off the monitor screen.  Is that what you mean?  If so, have you tried using the control buttons on your monitor to adjust your screen? 
Again, is this what happens?
