Does anyone really know the real meaning of Easter anymore?

A summary of what Christians (like myself) believe
Have a read, it wont take up much time:

Since I dont believe shoving religion down peoples throats is an effective way of spreading the word, stop reading now if you refuse to accept.
    Christmas
Approximately 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary.
Jesus was GOD's only Son, sent to the earth to save all people from their sins.

    Easter
Jesus was crucified on the Cross, a terrible punishment. He was declared “King of the Jews” and given a crown of thorns. His hands were nailed to the cross, and his feet tied with rope. He died, and was buried in a tomb. A stone was placed over the opening.
    Jesus descended to *censored*.
On the third day, two woman went to the tomb to leave oils and spices. They found the stone gone, and no body inside. An angel asked what they were doing, and said that Jesus was living.
Jesus ascended to Heaven, where he sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, creator of the Heavens and the Earth.
