Organizing "Favorites"

I add URLs to my Favorites as I go during the day, and file them in existing or new folders when I'm not busy.
I have never been able to figure how to get all my folders to follow each other in alphabetical order and I've never figured how to avoid unclassified favorites getting mixed in with the main folders.
I've tolerated this for years now but I'm getting quite exasperated.
There must be some simple way for this simpleton to solve the problem?

So...you basically just want to reorder your Favorites?  What browser is this?

With IE, I'm not aware of any auto-arrange feature, so the only thing I can think of is clicking on your Favorites button and manually organizing the folders in the order you want by dragging them around.  I can't think of any better way to do it.

If you're using a different browser, I imagine it's probably the same thing, unless any of them have better organizing tools.  I tend to not stray too far from IE, so I'm really not sure.

There's an easier way.  Right click on any Favorites list and select Sort by Name.
