Apologies for any typos in this; I can't see very well.

I was heading down a gravel hill in my car when I skidded. A friend who was behind me couldn't stop in time and I was struck from behind. A '06 Geo Metro vs. a SUV is not a good thing. My car, somehow, didn't get the worst of it, but my head hit the steering wheel and my left glasses lens put a gash above my eye. I also have a rathar nasty case of whiplash. I got taken th the hospital and while I din't need stiches, I was patched up as well as possible. I'm gonna hurt like *censored* for a few days. *censored*, I'm missing out on that meeting with my girlfriend,... sucks. I'm gonna recoup for a while, and be gone from the rest of the world.

Wow Dilbet, good thing you're ok.
I was in an accident once in Dallas. This was quite a long time ago. I was in my cousin's truck and we were going to WalMart and another car cut right in front of us at a turn and hit the right side of our car and we ran off road and ran into a street light.
Nor me or my cousin was injured but the repairs to the tuck cost like $3000
I think it need a new engine or something.
Anyways...the point is you're ok

Update: My glasses have been -- sort of -- fixed. They're still tweaked to the point that they're unwearable for practical purposes, but I can hold out until tomorrow when I get new glasses. Whiplash is at its worst so far today.

So, I can sort of see, but the glasses which caused the y-shaped cut are still badly tweaked, and I yelp in pain if I move my neck. On the plus side, I'm back on the Net -- at least a little.

Sounds like the time I went two days without being able to move my neck. (Oh my goodness! That hurt more than ever! I couldent believe it.)

I wasn't expecting this fast of a recovery. It still hurts to move my neck, but I'm not constrained to bed as I thought I'd be.
