    NTLDR IS MISSING
    « on: April 26, 2007, 09:42:05 PM »
    I HAVE "NTLDR IS MISSING" PROBLEM. I'M RUNNING WINDOWS 2000 PRO AND THIS PROBLEM CAME UP. I.VE CRAETED A BOOT FLOPPY WITH THESE FILES ON IT. I ACCUALY GOT THE DOWNLOAD F0R THE FLOPPY FROM THIS WEBSITE. THE DISK WORKS AND I'M IN MY SYSTEM. THE HELP PAGE SAYS THE NEXT STEP IS TO COPY THE FILES "NTLER AND NTLDR.COM" TO THE ROOT FILES OF C DRIVE, SO I DON'T HAVE TO BOOT FROM THE FLOPPY.  I'VE HAD MANY FAILED ATTEMTS ON THIS SIMPLE TASK DUE TO THE FACT IM NOT SURE WERE TO COPY THESE FILES TOO.
    MY QUESTION IS DO YOU KNOW A PATH I CAN USE IN THE FORM OF;
      EXAMPLE;
    COPY TO  "C/DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS/ADNINISTRATION/YADDA/YADDA/YADDA" ?

    THANKS                                                                                                                                                                           vic_i_eee

      This is the page that I created the floppy from and I've read it. I'm sorry but I don't understand. It says   copy ntldr c:
                                                   copy ntldr.com c:
      and I don't know now how to perform this task.
