wow my dsl speed!!

Ok guys to everyone that new about my problem with my low dsl speed, something has changed big time!!!

How long do you think it would take to download 7.8gb on a 3mb dsl modem>>>

well im on 3.mbps

I'm surprised your DSL software even loads. 256M ram is grossly insufficient for XP and DSL. Add 512M ram and you might get some satisfaction.

2k_dummy - at my advice, the OP has 1.25Gb of RAM, waiting on the extra 1Gb to arrive.

i downloaded ut 2004, ut goty, and star wars jedi knight academy 1 & 2, on my good pc, and it took 5 hours with torrents

There are many of these type of sites online,   that one is just very simple and straightforward.

Try a couple different servers from the list in the column on the left.

Post your results here.
You can just copy-n-paste it.
Note that there is a difference in  kbps and KB/sec. 
Just copy the two lines of info that appear under "Last result"  after each run.

With that info,  some folks here will interpret it and let you know if your number of hours sounds about right.
