Stop Reacting
« on: June 29, 2007, 11:12:16 PM »
My computer suddenly stops reacting when i using it.
I remember the first time it happened i was playing GTA:sa,the screen stopped suddenly and no more reations.I don't think the virus cause it because i haven't have any online service when the first time it happens, also it happened just after i bought my computer few days later and i tried to re-install the window but it still happens.

Signs of stopping reacting:
It begin "program busy" suddenly but the mouse can be moved like this

Then,it become no more reactions and the mouse can't be moved anymore,at the same time, some black bars appear and some place of the screen was twisted like this

It  always happens ,sometimes when i open a folder ,sometimes when i playing a song with the media player, sometine when i doing nothing, and the black bars remain the same place but the twisted part will change positsion,
what's wrong with my computer, please HELP ME

I suggest you uninstall gta:sa if it caused the issue.  Update your malware protection and run full sytem scans in Safe Mode.  Reboot and run them again in Windows normally.

follow The Saviour's advice from here,,   I only asked because both of my puters  have recently started doing this since my install of Comodo?  I really like this firewall but feel its my culprit in my freezes......  with Windows firewall turned off to boot ?

UPDATE*  Windows Genuine advantage  << big brother checker was screwing me up and causing  my freezes = "deleted"
