    VPN fun

Hey guys, I just had a bit of a question regarding VPN. I have a friend who has about 1.5 terabytes HDD space, and we want to set up some form of VPN so a group of us can connect to his pc, and store a few files on there whilst we need to use them, but we also want access to them. So we want to set up some form of VPN. The OS's running that would need to be connected are Vista Home Premium and Multiple XP HE's. The main PC is XP HE also. Would anyone be able to give me a good link to a page that covers VPN, port forwarding, and any other aspect I might need to know. I have tried a few, but none seemed to work. Do I need a static IP address on the server also? Thanks.
