Where did all my disk space go?!?!?

Sequoia is only showing me about 119 gigs. My PC is showing a 250 gig HD, with 111 gigs free. I am missing 130 gigs

This is what has me confused...119 used + 111 free = 240G real close to what it should be. How do you figure you are missing 130G ? ?

thanks Anodoin , I tried that, and I am happy to say it shows me as having 0 kb as bad sectors. But sad to say I still dont know where the missing  gigs are. I am honestly about to just give up and live with the ones I have.Thanks again everyone, this is a real nice site here.!!

You know I'm still sorta leaning towards the limit...  If you would try one more thing, run chkdsk /R on the drive that's giving you woes, see if any bad sectors show up.

Patio:  I think he's saying he's showing 119 total, with 8gigs used on a fresh XP install, leaving 111 free.
