my task manager dose not pop up when i perss ctrl alt delete
, i have window xp, new computer, i was online one day and  and after it didnt work i haved a ton of pop ups . i think it is a virus or sumthing. & my norton scan dose not work too

    Can you start regedit? It remains open for at least 2 minutes? Can you start notepad? Or command prompt?

    Do you have another antivirus?

    The simptoms are very general for some viruses. But I suspect one virus for that (Gaobot, or agobot or another version). I had similar problems. I deleted the virus manually.

    Scan for Viruses, Spyware and Trojan Horses.

    I donot understand people like you.. You think you have a virus, yet you completely skip the Read This First - Viruses & Spyware In the Viruses and spyware section...?
