    Will a 54Mbps router work on a 106(I think it is)Mbps adapter.
    Because my adapter is not working, it wont connect

      Yes it should.  But remember.  You are only as fast as your slowest point of connection.  Can you post a little more information about your router and about the NIC though?  That way we can be sure.
