Bad temperature sensor?
« on: September 27, 2007, 10:05:54 PM »
So i just got done with my new build and after installing everything i notice that the temperature reading on my CPU is 213 degrees C! now considering that my computer is cold (just got back from work) I was thinking if there is anyway to configure the sensor so i get some kind of realistic value or is my temp sensor shot? It is running cool from what i can tell. It isn't shutting down. all my fans are going. I double checked that the heat sink was firmly seated to the CPU.

    Try Everest
    And SpeedFan.

Obviously that's an incorrect reading otherwise you would have had the China Syndrome on your hands...
