Using boot discs to install Windows 2000
« on: September 26, 2007, 08:57:56 AM »
I have managed to copy the four intall discs for Windows 2000 Pro onto floppy discs, which work fine until I am asked to insert the cd (I don't have one). My computer is refurbished and came installed with Windows 2000 Pro and an installation disk for Windows 98. Is there any way that I can install Windows 2000 without the cd, or is there any way I can make a disk? :-[

That would be a no and no...
you need a genuine windows 2000 install disc if you want to reinstall.
