Dvi-i to Dvi-d

I bought a component to DVI cable to connect to my monitor. The problem is that the cable is DVI-I and it doesnt fit into the DVI-D port in the back of my monitor. Is there any converter or adaptor I can use so that the cable fits into the back of the monitor?

You may try also regular electronic store. I don't know where you are located, but I bought my cable at CompUSA.
