    Hard drive "locked"?

    So a guy comes up to me b/c he thinks I know alot about computers (which I don't) and asks if I can figure out how to "unlock" his hard drive.  What the *censored* does this guy mean?

    That means, that BIOS, or hard drive itself is password protected, so I think, we are not allowed to discuss this subject on this board.

      my master once teach me how to lock using command prompt but i dont think i want to learn that stuff,stupid me...LOL..
