Backup or restore wizard?
« on: October 30, 2007, 11:47:40 AM »
I have windows XP with all the updates and for the life of me I can't find the backup or restore wizard under system tools. Am I overlooking something?

You don't have "Backup" in your System Tools?

If not, Click Start, click Run, type ntbackup.exe, and then click OK.

I don't have that on any of my 3 XP's except my very old laptop

When go to Run and type ntbackup.exe and press Enter, it says the file could not be found  ??? ??? ???

If it's missing Here it is...
Not for those running "ahem" versions of XP.

I don't think it was included in XP Home but i've already been wrong twice today...

Heh, you're right. My laptop is an XP Professional and all my other comps are Home Edition.
