zoombinis wont work on my computer

I have the logical journey of the zoombinis game and it wont work on my xp.
I got told to do this -

1. Copy the contents of the zoombinis CD to a first level folder on your C drive.
2. Right-click on the "SETUP.EXE" file and select "Properties" and then click on the "Compatibility" tab.
3. Check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" box and select "Windows 95" and click "OK".
4. Double-click the "SETUP" and follow the installation instructions.

I did this and installed it all  again
but now when i put th cd in and try to run it, it says i need to insert the cd  ... but it's already in 

can anyone help?!

first of all clean your cd, to be sure it's ok. Just get a soft cloth or kleenext, and get it a bit wet. Then just clean the bottom side of cd carefully.

then try again.

But logical journey of zoombini's is an old game, maybe not work on newer windows systems.

Try changing compatibility mode fin windows 98?
