Corrupter driver for DVD drive
« on: January 21, 2008, 11:26:05 PM »
Have a Compaq Presario c500 and its DVD RW drive is not working due to a corrupted driver. DVD's brand is OPTIARC and the model is 753A.

Any ideas where to get a working driver??

Depending on the flavor of Windows it may not need one...but we don't know what you're running...

 ???

How old is this drive ?
How does it show up in Device Manager ?

As patio said, depending on your version of windows you probably don't need one.  If it's XP and it's not working properly, your hardware is probably bad.  However, you're gonna have to post more information for any of us to truly help out.
