    can't install the ms office 2000

    hi i want to install a ms office 2000 but i cant install cause there were some error that i could not proceed.... this is the error..

    error 1309. error reading from file: D:\documents and settings\administrator\desktop\office2000\pfiles\common\msshared\themes\themes.inf. verify that the file exist and that you can acess it.

    yes... i am using xp pro.

    i don't have a clue what is this kind of error.

    One of the files is missing or corrupted (unreadable). From the error message, it looks like you're trying to install it from your hard drive, so I will assume that you don't have a legitimate CD and are trying to install a copied version. For that reason, this is as much help as you can get on that topic from anyone here. Buy a legitimate copy then you can complain to Microsoft it isn't working.
