Computer Name and Password???

How do I get the Computer Name and Password? Because I forgot it.

Or

How do I Delete the old  Name and Password and create a new one.

Assuming you're using XP....... boot into safe mode (keep tapping F8 while the computer is booting, choose safe mode) and log into the "Administrator" account. On it go into the control panel and go to "User Accounts". Change the password for your account (not the Administrator one).

Hi,
My name's Aurora.  Recently inherited  a Dell Windows Vista.  I don't know the password for this computer and am at a lost about what to do.  Hope you don't mind that I jumped here on "your bandwagon" (so to speak), however, this is my first time on this forum.  Someone mentioned going to a slave hardrive in order to retrieve present data....   Haven't really gone that route.  I want to find out how to do this. So if you happen to have  any info, please pass on if you will.  Thanks!!!
