W2000 worth upgrading from W98SE or not?

I'm thinking of purchasing W2000 on Ebay to up-grade from W98SE for a PIII system with a M754LMR  all in one motherboard, 2 10G HDs and 360Meg of DDR Ram - is this worth doing and if so which of the many versions of W2000 is the best bet - obviously I won't buy a used CD. ??? ???

Windows 2000 Pro is much more stable, then Win 98. Go for it.

Be careful when purchasing anything from eBay that has a key number specific to it (like used versions of Windows and games).
