    ntldr program?

    Will a newly formatted drive WITHOUT an OS installed, have an NTLDR program or does the os setup/ install place that there?

    if i start a computer with a formatted drive and no os and it says 'NTLDR missing. Reboot"  ..what does that tell me?

    It means the drive wasn't completely formatted...after format there is no ntldr.
    What tool did you use ?
