    File and printer sharing
    « on: February 08, 2008, 06:35:22 PM »
I keep running network wizard and keep turning on file / printer sharing so that I can get into my laptop with my desktop but it seems like its not "storing it" or keeping it.  It just turns it right back off when the wizard is done.

Is there another way to turn file sharing on where it will stick?

You may try mapping a drive to the shared folder from your laptop. Remember to mark a check next to "Reconnect at logon", then, your mapping will remain permanent even after reboot.
