i use windows vista , and sometimes the key's i press on the keyboard are incorrect on the screen , i dont think its a keyboard problem. for example ,a question mark is this É , and a forward slash is this ą. this started in notepad and was solved by re opening notepad , but now its started to effect other things (over a few months) like the startbar, internet explorer, msn, ect . how can i fix this?

get yourself a different keyboard and test it again to see if the keyboard error you suggest is repeatable.

If repeatable with different but working keyboard, then computer has problem. Otherwise, toss out your old keyboard.

Go Start>Control Panel>Regional and Language Options>Keyboards and Languages, click on Change Keyboards button, and see to what language it's set.
