maybe i am doing something wrong, i saved ie6setup to desktop, right clicking and trying to send to the disc and it says: cannot replace or create ie6setup: access is denied. make sure the disc is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

just not sure if the disc i have is not writable or if i am doing something wrong.

In order to put a file on CD, you need to burn it to CD.
Download, and install free CDBurnerXP: http://cdburnerxp.se/
It'll do it for you.

ok now i am really confused, nothing is getting downloaded and its all cuz of that windows, was that microsoft site you las sent the one where i can find that 5.0. whatever download? i didnt see it on there when i looked and cd stuff wont load unless i have it

You're not installing anything? You're just downloading, right?
What Windows version do you have on a computer, you're downloading CDBurnerXP?

Yes, it should, but you can't install it on Windows ME to burn files.
You'll need to ask a friend to burn those downloads to CD for you.
