here is what happened in picture shark...
Here is what I did. Maybe I'm just forgetting some vital step. This is the original image I want to watermark. (credit to

Okay, this is when I first paste the watermark on...
I want to be able to add, say, 50px to the bottom of the image canvas and write the watermark there on the new white space.
And this is when I move the y-offset to outside the original image's canvas, in hope that it would extend the new image to create 21px (in this case) of whitespace on the bottom. Here's what happens in the program...
and heres what happens in to the converted image...
There is no change, because I wanted the watermark outside of the image.
