sound card help

can some one tell me how i can tell what kind of sound card i have installed on my machine? i'm trying to download a driver for it, but there are so many to choose from .... please help!

Hi Casey.... Do this.... Click Start -> Run ... Now, in the Run box, type dxdiag   , and press enter... Now, you might get a small dialog box when you do this.... You can just click no on that... Now, after a second or two, a large gray box will display, showing your system information... Click on the sound tab, and look on the top-left side to see which card you have.... Keep in touch!  ;)

    and download "Driver Genius Pro" to get full inofrmation about your computer hardware after installing this software.
