Windows 98 SE, LU 1835; Windows Audit Mode
« on: February 01, 2005, 02:49:07 AM »
Hello:
I hope someone can help me with this problem.  I'm at my wits end.  I have Win 98 SE and Norton Internet Security Professional 2004 (subscript up at end of year).  When I run Live Update I receive LU 1835: Connection to Live Update Server Failed.  I am then directed to the symantec support site.  The site does an analysis of my system.  It finds that Windows is running on Audit Mode.  It advises going into the registry to delete that key.  The problem?  I can't find anything that says audit mode, and further, there's also a solution of changing the time of Live Update ???

I've been unable to complete a Live Update session for at least two/three weeks.
Please Help!
