I installed mozback and selected ''backup profile'' , What happens now, how does this help? Is it gonna keep making backup for the new bookmarks that I keep adding ?
If yes then where can I see this back up thing?

And do I have to make some sort of profile for mozila?

I don't understand any of this.

Thankyou

Firefox stores the bookmark in the following location...use Windows Explorer to get there:
Documents and Settings/User Name/Application Data/Mozilla/FireFox/Profiles/Default....
There should be a bookmarks.html file and bookmarks bak.

You can try pointing FireFox there and importing the file to see if this loads them.

Good Luck and let us know.
The MozBack program cannot restore them right now because they are'nt being shown right now so a backup would be of what you have now.
If this fix works then run MozBack to create a backup, just to clarify...

There is another, much more manual, method.  It took me a while to find it.  It allows you to export your bookmarks to, or import your bookmarks from, a desitination of your choice.

Bookmarks --> Manage Bookmarks --> File --> Export --> (save)

Bookmarks --> Manage Bookmarks --> File --> Import --> From File --> Next --> (open)

I'm currently using Mozback, too -- I just thought I'd mention this.

I went there and pointed some bookmarks there and they were loaded.

Is this what I was supposed to do?

Did you try, dear Ivy, to use MozBackup to restore your bookmarks?

Also, I'm stealin' Patio's advice!  Kindly see if there's a folder there.

See if you can use MozBackup to restore the bookmarks from that folder...
