File Extensions: how to open

I am having difficulty opening a .exd file. Could someone
point me in the right direction for getting this opened?

this is supposed to be a catia file. I just need to open
and view its contents.

MetalMilitia is correct that this file is usually a Microsoft temporary file. If you believe this to be a "catia" file we suggest you use this program to open the file. If the file still cannot be opened or appears to be corrupt it is likely not the type of file you think it is or is actually corrupt.
