gap in the application wizard(add or remove programs) between the application

i have a problem with my controlpanel
i.e.,

       in my add or remove window a m getting the space
in that first 5-6 applications or coming correctly in normal  way after these applcation i am getting too much of space between furthue applications
   can anybody help me in this   ?

Assuming, you're on Windows 2000, or better...

Go Start>Run, type in:
regedit
Click OK.

Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
Click on every subkey, and look for DisplayIcon entry in right pane.
If found, rename it to xDisplayIcon
When done, restart computer.
