I still remember the poll for your becoming a moderator J.
You know, in that poll asking if I should be a moderator or not, it turned out like this:
Yes: 8
Maybe: 13
No: 14
Sure, the amount of "Maybe's" divided by two (= 6.5) plus 8 (= 14.5 ) equals slightly more than the "No" count (= 15 when rounded) but, I really didnt have much support at all.
I really liked the approach that Nathan took to new moderators at that time, which was:
You first became an FAQ Board Moderator, then, after you've done that for a while, you become a full moderator.
Of course, now, our FAQ board does not require as much maintenance, and it would be pointless to dedicate a moderator to. The only other thing I can think of is if it were an "Off-Topic" or "Others" section moderator, mainly since we get a lot of incorrectly placed posts in the "Others" board.
