    New replies to your post
    « on: June 23, 2008, 02:46:39 AM »
In a member of a forum that has an option for me to click on and see any new replies to my posts.

One thread that I posted to but long since lost interest in keeps popping up as having a new reply to my post.

How do I stop it notifying me everytime there is a new post in this very very very long running thread.

The forum is computer hope and the thread is PeckerWood's New Prediction Game.

Not unless the trick was to still send me a notification that there was a reply to my post.

I could try searching for my posts in that thread and deleting them.

What!  You don't want to receive notification of posts in PeckerWood's New Prediction Game?  I can't imagine ...

Anyway, you can discontinue receiving notification for a specific forum thread by clicking on the Notify button at the top of your forum screen when logged on and viewing that topic.  You don't need to make changes in your Profile.
