Dual Boot Problem

i installed windows XP on one partition and then Windows 2000 on another partition...

I cannnot boot on XP now , i tried to fix the mbr by the command fixmbr but to no avail

Any solution apart from re formatting and fresh installation

    Have you changed boot.ini?

    What do you mean you cannot boot from xp? Does it come up with the option to choose that partition? If not you need to edit your boot.ini file to include the partition that xp is on.

    attrib boot.ini  -r -a -s -h.
    edit boot.ini
