HELP!!!!!! Missing Programs!

My laptop seems to have problems. I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium. Under My "Accessories", some of the programs are missing, like Notepad, Calculator, etc. And also under "Games", all the games shortcuts are missing. I'm sure many programs are missing too. I don't know what exactly happened but I did run before some Registry Cleaner programs like "Registry Mechanic, CCleaner, RegCure, etc." and I'm not sure if it caused the problems. I also did tried to System Restore but unable to do so too.

I''ve run the steps provided, "Malware Removal Procedures" and attached are the three logs files.

Actually I do have a Reliability and Performance Report and Event logs from Vista which slow down the performance of my laptop but I'm unable to post as the files. Can someone pls tell me if it's require?

Personally I am reluctant to look at the logs. Sorry but this thread was never resolved (abandoned).

Registry cleaners are dangerous and should be avoided unless you are 110% sure of what you are removing is safe to remove. And even the you need to question if it can safely be removed. Do a system restore.

Hi evilfantasy, you helped me with 2 of my the other computers. I hope you can help me again. This is my work laptop and I need it alot. I can't run System Restore at all. Everytime I run the program, it would say System Restore did not restore successfully.

With regards to the other thread, I still do not have the chance to use that pc.

I'm not that familiar with Vista. Did the registry cleaners make a backup before the cleaning was done? If so restore using them.

You might try posting in the Windows forum for advice from those who know more about it then I do. This isn't a malware issue.

I did backup before the cleaning was done but I've deleted the programs since I do not use it. Is it possible to restore those deleted programs with the backup files?
