GreaseMonkey - Rounded Forms
« on: July 12, 2008, 12:05:42 AM »
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/29819

Rounds corners and adjusts appearance of textarea, select, button, and input fields. Eye candy appeal. Somewhat Safari-like (but without 'glow' effects). Applies globally, but you can always exclude sites or apply it only to selected sites.

I'm not sure what your problem is. You can see my screenshot from CH reply window, and it works nicely. Works fine on any other web site, I tried.
Is this your problem:

Yeah, but I'm not sure, if it has anything to do here.
Did you check any other web sites? It works perfectly fine everywhere, I checked.
Let me change the theme, and see what happens.

Can't find any other example but, from the picture I posted, the reply box is out of alignment with the blue background.

Wait, you're on FF3, aren't you?

Yes, I'm, but what I'm saying, go to few other web sites (almost every site has some fill-in forms), and see, if you have similar problem.

No problem here.
If you just upgrade without uninstalling FF2 (like I did), those not compatible add-ons will still show up in add-ons list, just grayed out.
Every time, you restart FF, it'll check if any update is available.
I still have couple of add-ons waiting to be un-grayed.

The text on the search button at Opensubtitles was one thing I noticed. Also, the language dropdown says *ENG when the script is enabled, and English when it isn't, which I don't understand. I'll post some more tomorrow.

I can't even check, because Opensubtitles gives me server error.

Strange, because I go there every day looking for subtitles. That link worked fine for me just now as well. Perhaps your ISP is blocking it?

Anyway, here's another from Le Monde. See how the radio buttons & associated text are partly obscured.

Also I disabled it on Google because although it looks very nice, it kills Google Suggest in the Customize Google addon.

Now fixed (12th July). Improved handling of dropdown tags.

How did you fix it?

I also noticed couple of sites where some words are off, but I can live with it. I really like this rounded "thingy" :)

I didn't. I meant that the author of the script provided an updated version on 12th July, which I downloaded.
