« on: July 10, 2008, 06:20:10 PM »

there is a process that is called "system" that never used to be there

nothing will open

it won't shut down

can't open any programs at all

every time he starts his pc he needs to go to start- run- services.msc and start wireless zero config but he can't stat any thing from

p4 3ghz
1gb ram
win xp home sp 3
160gb hdd
580psu
ati x1050ecs 915 pla2

(my friend is comuteruler, but he can't post anything because his computer won't work.  Therefore, I'm posting his question for him)

Then what? How far does computer boot? I assume, it boots to Windows, since he can reach Start?
More description needed.
Safe Mode tried?

Well, the most important thing is, your computer is working again!
Why don't you hard wire it to the modem/router?
