    Notebook Video Cards
    « on: August 06, 2008, 04:40:47 PM »
I started a high travel job and want a really good notebook computer for entertainment purposes.

I'm trying to stay around 3k or under.

However, I want one that can run MMO well.

I was wondering if anyone had suggestion on capable notebooks.

Or suggestion on notebook video cards?

I'm not much into gaming, however...there's one thing you should know...

Most laptop/notebook computers come with the video card integrated into the motherboard...so finding one with interchangeable video cards will be highly unlikely.

If you're looking for a decent notebook for MMO...then you might want to check out this review at MMORPG.com.  Be prepared to do some reading...it's about three pages long.

    Happy hunting...

Under 3k. Wow 3k is a lot for a computer.
XPS as far as I know are great so check this one out
      http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/xpsnb_m1730wow?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&~oid=us~en~29~xpsnb_m1730wow_anav1~~

It's the most expansive xps but it's great.
These are all over 1300 $$$ laptops:

Also I looked into the Alienware.com it's a great website for great gaming desktops/laptops and stuff well this one is really nice and cheaper then at Dell
      http://www.alienware.com/products/area-51-m17x-notebook.aspx?SysCode=PC-LT-AREA51M17X&SubCode=SKU-DEFAULT

It's up to you though on the specs.

To me though the alienware looks cooler and it looks like it's better too. Alienware is a great peace of creation :D
