    Video Card Help
    « on: August 05, 2008, 09:24:44 PM »
    Hello Everybody.

I just bought a new computer and am having troubles with the video quality of movies I play.

I have an ATI Radeon HD 3600 series graphics card and an 22'' ViewSonic Screen.

I've tried playing the video in many players and still the same result.

attached is a sample of what my video looks like. It sort of looks like its tinted in my unprofessional opinion.

any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Any additional information needed to help fix this problem, please let me know and I'll try to get that for you.

    Thank-you

p.s. That sort of white fuzz you see in the picture is worse then it looks in the picture.

At the moment I have no idea what to tell you but to check out if they have an update for that card. Updates usually fix all the bad stuff.

Its fully updated. Is it a problem with the video card?

It looks fine to me. It is probably your current video settings.

I've messed around with the video settings a lot already... It doesn't change it...

looks good to me, but if your talking about "white fuzz," it may simply be the contrast. try adjusting the contrast of the monitor via the menu on the monitor itself.

Check to make your resolution the native of your monitor, and it may just be the quality of that video...
