I don't know about you guys but I think topics would be less confusing if we knew who was the Original Poster, so I was wondering if the OP can have some sort of symbol by their name or rank of whatever saying {OP}.

Example:

Is this possible or am I chasing dreams?

Not a bad idea, actually. Better yet, maybe their posts could have a different background (a darker blue, perhaps). I personally don't think any of it is necessary, but some of our users might benefit from it. I'm sure it's possible, but there's no telling how easy it would be; it'd probably have to be another item on Nathan's to-do list.

The color is dark enough

. maybe a shade of gray instead of blue though.

If you hover over the pencil icon...it'll tell you..."Topic Starter".

Exactly. It happened to me, that in longer thread, I didn't pay enough attention, and I started to answer to hijacker problem.
